Danielle
During the height of the Covid-19 pandemic, Danielle came to me for help when her 250-guest DC wedding turned into a 14-family member NY backyard ceremony. She wanted to do her own makeup but wasn’t getting what she needed from online videos. With both of us in different cities, we met virtually to discuss what she had and needed to buy to get her desired look. We then had a lesson, where I went step by step through her makeup for her big day. I worked on a model (my daughter) and she worked on herself. Danielle was a star and practiced a few more times (see photo collage below), sending me pictures to critique, until she got to the place where she felt she had mastered the look she wanted. She looked absolutely gorgeous on the day and I was so proud of her and the beautiful makeup she did. I also know that the skills she learned will help her for many years to come! Rachel
Rachel’s NY wedding (where I was going to do her makeup) was, due to Covid-19, moved to Texas where they had an intimate family affair. We chatted online about what she wanted, went through her makeup and I suggested some items to compliment what she already had. We had one trial and I felt it would be beneficial that I send her a drawing for her to work from. On the big day, I guided her through her makeup application step by step and she did an amazing job. I felt like I was right there with her and love how gorgeous and radiant she looked! I also guided her mom, Alison, through her makeup application and am now trying to convince her to wear makeup more often, because she did such a great job too. Congrats Rachel and Gabe!!
